Looking for a new twist on the Hansel and Gretel story? Look No Further!

When Hayden and Greta Mae are abandoned in the woods by their stepmother, Hayden tells his little sister the old fairy tale of Hansel and Gretel that he remembered their grandmother telling them. Then they set about trying to find their way home. Hayden hesitates when they come upon a cottage in the woods. But Greta Mae is sure it’s not a witch’s house. There’s no candy, and the cottage with the thatched roof of green, and pink shutters with hearts appears welcoming. The sign out front says: ‘Help for lost children. Please come in.’ So, they knock on the door. When a woman who looks nothing like the witch in the story opens the door to invite them in for tea, they’re both hungry enough to accept, yet determined not to eat any sweets, just in case. But Swandrula has other ways of tricking children, to fatten them up. She’s not as sweet as she appears.
