Debra Bishop is a children’s author who has written two children’s picture books. One is about a young purple unicorn, and the other is about a pink baby dragon. She told stories about the little dragon and the unicorn to her granddaughter over the phone when Covid prevented visiting.

In 2026, both stories will be out in ebook, paperback, and hardback.

Her story, The Sweetest Day, is based on the old Hansel and Gretel story.
